Do I need a doctor’s referral to book in San Rafael?

My doctor’s office doesn’t do ultrasound. Can I still book with you?
Yes. You don’t need a membership or a referral for most studies. Book directly, and we’ll send you your report so you can share it with your own doctor.
Do you perform echocardiograms or scan the heart itself?
No. Our vascular studies — carotid duplex and abdominal aortic ultrasound — look at the blood vessels, not the heart muscle itself. If you need a heart (cardiac) ultrasound, that’s an echocardiogram, which we don’t offer.
