This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit https://ultravisionimaging.com/ (the “Site”), submit a request through our built-in forms (including appointment requests), or otherwise contact us.
IMPORTANT — HIPAA NOTICE: Information collected through this Site (such as contact details and scheduling requests) is NOT Protected Health Information (PHI). Any PHI collected in connection with your diagnostic care is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this Privacy Policy. Please request or review our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices for information about how your medical information is handled.

2) INFORMATION WE COLLECT
A. Information you provide (Contact + Appointment Request Forms) When you submit a form on the Site (including “Book” / appointment request forms), we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company/clinic name (if applicable)
- Your message and scheduling request details (e.g., preferred dates/times, service requested)
Our Site forms collect only contact information and a request to schedule. We do not require or request medical details through the Site forms.
B. Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we may automatically collect:
- IP address
- Browser and device information
- Operating system
- Pages viewed, time spent, and interactions with the Site
- Referring/exit pages and approximate location (derived from IP)
C. Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- operate the Site,
- remember preferences, and
- measure and improve Site performance (analytics).
You can control cookies via your browser settings or through any cookie-preference tool we make available on the Site. If you disable cookies, some features may not function properly.

reCAPTCHA: We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam and abuse. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, we use advertising and analytics technologies (including Google Ads, Google Analytics, and the Meta/Facebook Pixel) that may involve the “sharing” of certain online identifiers and activity for cross-context behavioral advertising and remarketing, as those terms are defined under California law.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
7) DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to respond to requests, maintain business records, and comply with legal requirements.
8) SECURITY
We implement reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9) YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information, subject to certain exceptions:
- Right to Know / Access: to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

- Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
How to exercise your rights: Submit a request by emailing info@ultravisionimaging.com or calling (916) 751-1944. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally 45 days).
Global Privacy Control (GPC): Your browser or extension may transmit an opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information.
Do Not Track: Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, we currently respond to recognized opt-out preference signals (such as GPC) as described above.
10) CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. Note that when we provide pediatric ultrasound services, any information about a minor patient is collected through our clinical intake process (not the Site) and is handled in accordance with HIPAA and applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11) THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, Instagram). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Please review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
