What we scan

Every study, at your door

Every study below is performed on location in Rancho Bernardo and interpreted by a board-certified radiologist within 24 hours.

Pricing is shown per study on each page. DVT studies and the second-trimester anatomy scan require a physician’s order and are scheduled by phone. Soft tissue and pediatric studies are quoted by phone because the scope varies.

Why Rancho Bernardo chooses UltraVision

Private, unhurried, and done right

ARDMS-Certified Sonographer

Your scan is performed by an ARDMS-certified sonographer with more than 15 years of clinical experience.

24-Hour Report Turnaround

Your report arrives within 24 hours through a secure portal, with delivery straight to your physician’s office on request.

Board-Certified Radiologist

Every study is interpreted and signed by a board-certified radiologist before the report reaches you or your doctor.

Concierge Home Visits

We arrive at your home, office or hotel anywhere in Rancho Bernardo on a scheduled appointment day, with no waiting room and no parking garage.

Private by Design

One patient, one sonographer, one unhurried appointment, in your own space and on your schedule.

No Referral Needed

Most studies — abdominal, thyroid, breast, vascular, men’s and women’s health — can be booked without a physician order. Only DVT studies and the second-trimester anatomy scan require one.

The Rancho Bernardo angle

Start on your own timeline, not with an order and an opening.

Rancho Bernardo is well served by large health systems, which is a good thing for ongoing care. But a routine diagnostic scan there often starts with a physician’s order and an opening at a facility.

For most studies you don’t need either with us: book directly, choose the study and see the price before you commit. We scan at your home or office, and a board-certified radiologist’s report follows within 24 hours.

Share it with your own physician, keep it for your records, or both.

What a visit looks like

Quiet, private, unhurried

Same equipment, same credentials, same radiologist read as a hospital outpatient department — at your address instead of theirs.

Good to know

Rancho Bernardo questions, answered

Do I need a referral for an ultrasound in Rancho Bernardo?
For most studies, no. You can book a carotid, abdominal, thyroid, renal, pelvic, breast, scrotal or soft-tissue ultrasound directly with us. Two exceptions require a physician’s order: DVT (deep vein thrombosis) studies and the second-trimester anatomy scan.
Does Medicare or insurance cover this?
We are a private, cash-pay service and do not bill Medicare or insurance. Each study has one flat, published price, and many patients use HSA/FSA funds — check your plan. Your report can be shared with your own doctor.
Where exactly do you perform the scan?
In your home, your office, or wherever you are in Rancho Bernardo. The equipment is portable and the exam needs a room with space to lie down. There is no waiting room, no sign-in and no second trip to collect results.
How fast do I get results, and who reads them?
A board-certified radiologist interprets every study and you receive the written report within 24 hours. The scan itself is performed by an ARDMS-certified sonographer using a full portable diagnostic system.
Do you serve 4S Ranch and Santaluz too?
Yes — we can travel to 4S Ranch, Santaluz and the surrounding I-15 corridor on the same appointment days. See our Carmel Valley page for the coastal side.
How do San Diego appointment days work?
We schedule set San Diego appointment days — next planned for Thursday–Friday, November 19–20. Every study has one flat, published price: vascular from $425, abdominal & metabolic from $395, women’s health from $375, men’s health from $395 and obstetric from $375, with soft tissue quoted by phone. Bundles lower the per-study cost. We are cash-pay and don’t bill insurance; many patients use HSA/FSA funds, so check your plan.
